Harvey County Historical Museum & Archives will host the inaugural Hide Park Showdown on Saturday, August 20, marking 151 years since the early-morning shooting in Perry Tuttle's Saloon that cemented Newton's place as the "Wickedest town west of the Mississippi" in 1871.

This event will include re-enactments, card games and demonstrations at the museum.
