Meet Clarina Nichols, a courageous woman who moved to the Lawrence area in 1858 to work for a Free State Kansas. Donna Becker, a Bethel College graduate, retired administrator, and current Kauffman Museum board chair, will do a first-person presentation of Clarina Nichols. Becker is known in the area for her performances of important historical women.
